Hi lovers and friends. Valentines day is the perfect excuse for donning a bright red lip. This blog is also called The Lipstick Fever, so you can bet your ass that I had to include some serious lipstick inspo this week. Since the focus for this look is totally on that luscious pout, I like to keep clothing and accessories simple. Grab your favorite pair of denim, a romantic white blouse, and black pumps (these are on sale, and amazing). Legit, too easy.
This particular red lip color is one of my favorites because of it’s intense pigmentation (“Lady Danger” by Mac). No but really, it’s kind of the best orangey red ever. With matte formulas I recommend a lip conditioner to wear underneath to keep everything moisturized – I like this one by Caudalie but Mac makes a great one too. Lip liner is a must to keep the color from bleeding, so I definitely recommend finding one that closely matches the shade (it’s okay if it’s not exact).
