Oh, New Years. It can be such a scene. Such a to-do, ya know?
But alas, it seems like every year, I get that ITCH. That urge to plan something fun…something different dammit! Then I start to have a vision for the perfect outfit. Before you know it, I’m punching in my credit card info, paying god knows what to get into that overpriced NYE party in the city.

Determined NOT to be this girl, I’m keeping it a tad more low key this year. Doing a little dinner party action with some friends. There will be good food, there will be cocktails and champs, and oh, there will be festive outfits.
Shop mine and East Coast Fox’s looks below, along with some other favorite Urban Outfitters picks (not to mention SPARKLERS!!). When in doubt, grab a cute slip dress and throw a sheer top underneath for an extra layer. OR go for something like Amanda’s velvet number for an ultra chic + festive look.
